Stephanie was crowned the winner of Miss England at The Vox Conference Centre Resorts World Birmingham on Friday 14th July 2017.
Stephanie, representing Hope Valley in Derbyshire had just graduated from Sheffield Hallam University when she won the title, and postponed her master’s studies whilst completing her Miss England duties
The competition is held every year to find the nation’s entry to Miss World which has a top prize of £100k. Miss World becomes a global charity ambassador every year raising millions of pounds around the world for disadvantaged children. In 2017 the Miss England finalists raised over £31k at the final using the Miss World Charity & ethos & charity “Beauty with a Purpose “
Over 10,000 women aged 16-26 entered the competition and fifty women took part in a series of challenges over a 3 day Final including a Grueling Sports round, a talent and Eco fashion round, a general knowledge quiz called Brainy Beauty and the Stages Miss Beautiful Hair round. Out of the 10 awards, Stephanie won 3 before being crowned Miss England 2017.

The Stages Miss Beautiful Hair Award
Stephanie was chosen as the winner of the stages Hair Design Miss Beautiful Hair award, an exclusive competition for Miss England 2017 finalists where each contestant submitted a video to a dedicated YouTube Miss Beautiful Hair Channel.
Stephanie won the Miss Eco award out of all 50 entries for creating this amazing Lady in Red Themed dress from recycled materials. Here she is being presented with the sponsor of Miss Eco Kelly Levell who chose Stephanie’s creation as the winning dress!
Miss Beautiful Mind
Stephanie won the Miss Beautiful Mind quiz which sees all of the girls competing in the competition sit a general knowledge test on a wide range of questions. Stephanie scored top marks!
